Choosing Your Customers

Seth Godin says earlier this month in his blog:

“Yes, you get to choose them, not the other way around… It’s not a matter of who can benefit from what you sell. It’s about choosing the customers you’d like to have.”

“You choose them with your pricing, your content, your promotion, your outreach and your product line.”

Agree AND disagree!

It’s true, you are meant to serve some and not others. Those customers you’re meant to serve will be attracted to you, your business and the benefit they get from you.

But its not only through your pricing, product line, etc that you “choose” them. It is mostly through the way that you “show up” or that they notice you. Its all about how you define yourself!
